Physician Biographies

 Esther F. Adade, MD

Dr. Esther Adade earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin. She has worked in both hospital and clinical settings since that time. Dr. Adade is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and she is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Aghnes Sabugo, MD

Dr. Bolusa-Sabugo is a 1996 graduate of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines.  She completed her Residency at the Makati Medical Center – Internal Medicine in Makati City, Philippines in 2001 and at St. Clare’s Hospital Family Practice Residency Program in Schenectady, New York in 2008. Dr. Bolusa-Sabugo has served previously as a Primary Care Physician and has earned a number of certifications including Advanced Life Support Obstetrics and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Souhail Shamiyeh, MD, FACP, CMD

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Souhail Shamiyeh brings compassionate healthcare to the patients of Wise Medical Group. In addition to his expertise as a medical doctor, Dr. Shamiyeh breaks language barriers with fluency in English and Arabic as well as some German and French.

 April Stidham, FNP

April Stidham is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. After working as a nurse in a hospital setting for 15 years, Ms. Stidham earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 1997. Since then, she has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Wellmont Physician Services. Ms. Stidham sees a broad array of patients – ranging from late adolescence to geriatric individuals. She sees patients for health maintenance visits as well as acute and chronic health problems. In addition to patient care, Ms. Stidham also works to train student nurses. She is currently an adjunct faculty member for King College and has served as a faculty member for the University of Virginia at Wise.
