Physician Biographies

Roldolfo Cartagena, MD

Dr. Rodolfo Catagena Dr. Rodolfo Cartagena earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Santo Thomas in Manila, Philippines. After medical school, Dr. Cartagena completed his residency at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia. He then moved to Southwest Virginia, where he has provided excellent OB/GYN care for more than 30 years.

Bernard Manatu, MD

Dr. Bernard Manatu has worked as a pediatrician in Southwest Virginia since 1993. Prior to this, Dr. Manatu earned his Doctor of Medicine from Universidad del Noreste in Tampico, Mexico. He then completed his internship at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, followed by internships at Interfaith Medical Center and The Methodist Hospital, both in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to beginning his career in private practice, Dr. Manatu also gained experience working at Erwin Army Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas.
