Physician Biographies
John Leonard Franklin, MD
Dr. John Franklin is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Franklin earned his Doctor of Medicine and performed his internship and residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. He then completed fellowships at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and Florida Orthopaedic Institute. Prior to joining Regional Orthopaedic Trauma Associates, Dr. Franklin was in private practice in Florida.

Robert Harris, MD
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Robert Harris specializes in treating orthopaedic trauma, including severe musculoskeletal injuries. Following his undergraduate studies at the United States Military Academy at West Point, Dr. Harris attended and graduated the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia. He then completed a residency in Orthopaedics as well as a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma. He is widely published in medical journals on the topics of Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Trauma. Dr. Harris is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and he has held faculty positions at several medical schools.

Daniel Krenk, DO
Dr. Krenk earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. After completing his residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Dr. Krenk went on to complete his fellowship at Allegheny General hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics as well as of the American Osteopathic Association.

Chris Fleming, PA-C
Working with patients of all ages, Certified Physician Assistant Chris Fleming assists with orthopaedic surgeries and also performs consults, daily rounds, and pre-operative and post-operative care. Fleming also provides in-depth information to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, their risks and benefits, and appropriate post-operative therapies. In addition to working as an Orthopaedic Physician Assistant, Fleming has experience in the vascular subspecialty as well as family care.

Richard Chapman, PA
Richard Chapman received his Master of Science in Medicine degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. While living in Cleveland, TN, Chapman taught physician education at Valley View Elementary School and worked with Cleveland City Schools as an Extended School Program (ESP) Assistant. He has experience in family, internal, emergency, pediatric and orthopaedic medicine.
