Physician Biographies

Phillip Ding, MD

A graduate of the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malasia, Dr. Ding received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2001from the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He served as General Surgery Resident & Chief Resident at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan and as Multi-Organ Abdominal Transplant Surgery Clinical Fellow at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Ding is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Hitesh Kaul, MD

Dr. Hitesh Kaul earned his medical degree at the Armed Forces Medical College at the University of Poona in India. He earned an advanced degree in Surgery at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Hospital at the University of Bombay in India. After completing an internship and junior residency in India, Dr. Kaul completed a residency in General Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was named Chief Resident during his tenure there. Dr. Kaul then completed a Clinical Fellowship in Multi-Organ Transplant Surgery at New York University Medical Center in New York, New York. Dr. Kaul is a member of the International Liver Transplantation Society and the American Medical Association.
