Physician Biographies

Ranjan Sachdev

Ranjan Sachdev, MD, MBA, serves as medical director of Wellmont Hawkins Orthopaedics and director of Orthopaedics at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. He has trained at prestigious facilities all over the world, including the Mayo Clinic. He received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in India and completed a surgical residency at S.U.N.Y Upstate Medical Center in New York. Dr. Sachdev also completed two other orthopaedic residencies, at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

Lawrence Livengood, MEd, ATC

A graduate of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, Lawrence Livengood is a Physician Assistant and a Certified Athletic Trainer. He has experience as a wellness specialist and an athletic trainer, and prior to joining Wellmont Physician Services, worked as a Physician Assistant at Lexington Clinic Sports Medicine Center and Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, both in Lexington, KY. Mr. Livengood belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
