In 2007, Dr. Sachdev became the first physician in Tennessee to perform OrthoPilot knee and hip replacement surgeries. OrthoPilot acts as a global positioning device that guides Dr. Sachdev during joint replacement surgery, so a patient’s new knee or hip is a custom fit. Computer-assisted guidance yields greater precision during the procedure, which results in a more sound and durable joint replacement.

Impact testing is especially relevant for athletes, as Dr. Sachdev is able to establish – through a non-invasive diagnostic exam – a neurological baseline that is invaluable in assessing someone who has experienced a concussion.
Determining whether someone is ready to return to activity – to work, to football practice, to the driver’s seat – should not be a guessing game. Impact testing removes the guesswork.
