Physician Biographies

Suzanne D. Ford, DO

Dr. Suzanne Ford has provided compassionate medical care at Elkhorn City Clinic since 2004. Dr. Ford earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed an internship and residency at Norton Community Hospital. Dr. Ford also completed residencies at Pikeville Medical Center and Jenkins Community Hospital.

Kermit Gibson, DO

Dr. Kermit Gibson has practiced family medicine in Elkhorn City since 1981. He earned his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. Dr. Gibson then completed an internship at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital in Traverse City, Mich. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Gibson also shares his knowledge as an instructor for medical students. He is an associate clinical professor at both the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Gibson also serves as a community-based voluntary faculty member for the University of Kentucky.
